We met in Thailand, hit it off in Singapore, spent all waking time together in Hong Kong.

He is stationed at a base two hours from mine, but we make time each week to see one another.  And I cry when I have to return to my base on Sundays because I won’t get to wrap my long scrawny arms across his chest and hold him while he sleeps; and I have to eat what I can pour into a bowl because he isn’t there to make a feast that Wolfgang Puck would be envious of.  And I listen to sad/love songs on the train to my world and miss the way he can piss me off in one second and give me a look or laugh that instantly makes me forget why I got mad.  And he harps on me for smoking, but he is more important than a cigarette so I keep him and ditch the habit.

I want to make him the happiest and most taken care of husband in the world.

And DOMA needs to end, so that these two Sailors can start a life and a family of love.
